The SE Plan will start to replace all Local
Plans from 2006.
The main issues relevant for Emsworth
are:
- Reserve
housing site for 250 houses at Hampshire Farm main details 2004 update Feb 2005: list
of potential objection points.
- Basline allocation for 55 houses at Oak Tree drive
in the northern part of the ward. list of objection points.
- Industrial development between A27 and railway
line to the west of the station. List of objection points.
- Protection given to open spaces (“Gaps”) and
nature conservation area
- Proposed woodland cemetery on Horndean Road has
been abandoned in favour of a larger recreation ground
- The Forest of Bere has been restored to the plan
