Hampshire Farm – update for July ERA QGM

Following a resident’s excellent letter to the Prime Minister on 12 May drawing his attention to Hampshire Farm, the matter came to the attention of Nicole Eakins, representing Central Government in the SE.   She is treating it as a request  to call in the application for a public inquiry once the DMC has made its decision on 9 September.

Chairman’s started blogging

This is the first Blog entry I’ve made. I’d like us to see “threads” on hot and topical issues which everyone’s encouraged to join with a comment to keep the debates alive.

The EMS is only published quarterly and the advantage of this Blog is dialogue made much easier and more timely.

So please share your thoughts and we’ll respond.
Hot thread topics from last night’s ERA QGM (as in my notes about to be published on the website) are:

  • Emsworth Baptist Church planning application
  • Hampshire Farm planning application; Oak Tree Trive
  • Local Development Framework/Core Strategy
  • Doctors Surgeries at Emsworth/Westbourne
  • Concessionary Fares forum
  • Emsworth Library
  • Emsworth Sorting/Collecting Office.

Over to you…
Lorraine Clode
(Chairman ERA)

Emsworth Royal Mail Sorting Office Survey – Extended Deadline

Royal Mail are reviewing the provision of a service at Emsworth Sorting/Collection office.

I am a degree student at the University of Gloucestershire and have selected this service as one of the topics I am researching for my Degree in Community Engagement and Governance.

Please take two minutes of your time to complete this on-line survey about Emsworth Sorting/Collection Office.  Completion of the survey is anonymous and you just have to click on the link below, answer ten short questions then click ‘done’ to send.

If I get a good response to the survey I will pass the analysis onto Emsworth Residents Association and Emsworth Business Association. And they will then know how important the residents of Emsworth think this service to be and lobby on your behalf. Your views are therefore relevant in the real world and not just important to me as a student.

deadline extended to midnight on 5th June 2010

Thank you in advance for your contribution.
