January 2010 EMS

The January 2010 EMS i(volume 33-1) is now being distributes or you can read it on-line.

Distribution is being hampered by the snow but If you live in Emsworth, have not received your paper copy by 20th January and don’t know your distributor please email John Kieran who will be pleased to help.

Orchard Children’s Centre is moving into Emsworth Primary School

in January Orchard Children’s Centre will be offering services
to families from Emsworth Primary School site. There will be Baby Signing and Baby Massage Classes, Mums & Dads Tea & Toast at the beginning of the school day, cookery classes, 1:1 play sessions, adult learning and much more…. Grand Launch in New Year

Making a Lasting Difference – Together –

Emsworth Youth Project, Stage 2

“What are the good and bad things about living in Emsworth?” and “What is your vision for a better Emsworth?” These are the questions asked at the ‘Making a Lasting Difference – Together’ Youth Conference held at the Brookfield Hotel on 11th November. Sixty young people from our two primary schools, Glenwood Special Needs School and from Warblington Comprehensive School spent a morning discussing these questions and the ideas they came up with was amazing. As one person put it, “The thought and effort the young people put into generating ideas was great and the quality of their contributions is mind-blowing.”

Orchard Children’s Centre offers ‘Baby Massage’ classes

Baby Massage Classes are offered by Orchard Children’s Centre.  The 4 week course will enable parents with sleep routines, ease colic symptoms and increase bonding with their baby by touch.

Emsworth’s Orchard Children’s Centre – New Group for Tots

Apple Tots opens on 7th September at the Syrch Centre, Lutman Street, off Southleigh Road.  The fun play drop in session for 12 to 24 month old crawlers, cruisers and tots beginning to find their feet and will run every Tuesday in both term and holiday time from 12.30 to 2pm.  Come along for rhymes, messy play, rhymes and fun!
